Predictions for this weekend? I know nothing about either of these but looking at the brackets I think 8-5A and maybe 2-5A will sweep.

8-5A will probably sweep because this is the worst that I think I have ever seen the Arlington Schools' district in a while and the best that the Plano Schools' district has been in a while

26 over 25
32 over 31
27 over 28
23 over 24
22 over 21

EP Franklin and Coronado will both win along with Amarillo.

You have a great argument with this one. I have never seen 7-5A this down since I moved here. I guess you might give Arlington the benefit of the doubt since they have some good wins against good teams but then they lost ones that left me scratching my head.

we will have to see which Arlington team shows up against Plano East. If they have a good game they could win, but then if they play bad they will lose.

Yeah, I wouldnt just chalk up a sweep of district 7 so quickly. That district has always been talented and schizophrenic, but this year their was a little less talent and a lot more schizophrenia. Still dangerous if taken lightly.

23-5a is going to CRUSH 24-5a
My pick for state champions North Shore over Pearland
La Porte over an unprepared undeserving Alvin
and
Deer Park over Clear Creek

however...

I have a gut feeling that Clear Creek could beat Deer Park. Creek has come together over the year and are now a respecatable team. Their qb is a sophomore and already leads 24-5a in passing yards. They have a great reciving core and a group of guys that classy might get rewarded for all their struggles and efforts.

there is a chance that the Trinity/SGP/Mac district sweeps. Those are 3 pretty good teams.

Fossil Ridge & Denton Ryan are unimpressive. Of course Carroll will probably not lose, but there is a chance.

You cant count out Denton Ryan so fast look at what happend last year. Everyone said Irving Mac was going to beat us and everyone is saying the samethings this year about SGP.

It is now up to Plano.... East beat Arlington (close one) and Allen beat Cedar Hill.

17-5a swept 18-5a tonight. So, the Cypress schools: Cy Fair, Cy Creek and Cypress Falls march on to next week - good luck to all!

23 did not sweep 24

Yes, Pearland lost but Clear Creek beat Deer Park. It looks like CL and I agreed on that possible upset.
