I'll give them credit for the flagship program - USC.

But, after USC the pickings in the PAC-10 get pretty weak.

The PAC-10 took a major beating yesterday at just about every level except the very top with USC.

Heck, #15 Arizona St. got beat by freaking UNLV.

No one saw the Sun Devils getting beat that way, but for me the shocker was BYU's complete domination of UCLA. Just an embarassing game all the way around. I was stunned, because I thought Washington showed the Cougs to be a bit overrated last week. Apparently that game just lit a fire under them.

Ya, I'm confused because UCLA beats Tennessee (SEC) then gets taken behind the shed and abused by BYU.

OU beat down Wazzu really bad also.

UNLV beating ASU just top it.

I think more then anything the BYU vs Wazzu game was a fluke. Either that or one of BYU weak spots is stopping an athletic QB (Locker).

That game against Tennessee was a shocker... But it will take Rick a few years to overcome the recruiting stronghold Pete has had on a Bruin team that Rick inherited. I didnt figure UCLA to be very good this year at all.

Keep an eye on Oregon though.

Oregon probably is the 2nd best team in the Pac-10. But, they were darn lucky to win their game today against Purdue in OT. They won but had to make a big time comeback to do it.

The biggest disappointment for me continues to be Washington. I have always been a closet UW fan (I grew up a fan of Mark Brunell) and I am a HUGE Ty Willingham fan, but it pains me to admit that Ty just isn't getting the job done. Jake Locker is a tremendous talent, but it's obvious like with Brady Quinn, neither Ty nor anybody on his staff know how to develop a QB. The Huskies need new blood bad.
