This went about as I expected... I said a 2+ score win for Allen and gave the defense the credit. I think DragonFly called in 21-7 Allen. Where is Panther96 and Vols4Ever ... what is you impression since you called it for CH?

Allen's football team can play with and possibly beat Carroll if their kids don't get on this website and read this crap. They have the talent and the coaching to give Carroll a heck of a game. They don't need to get psyched out.

Congrats To Allen On The Victory...my Hat Goes Off To Cedar Hill Also. Eliminate The Turnovers And May Be It Is A Different Outcome. Allen's Defense Really Swarmed To The Ball, But Cedar Hill Really Moved The Ball Well All Night And Could Not Punch It In. Not Impressed With Allen's Offense. I Know Charlie "o" Did Not Play Last Night, But Cedar Hill's Defensive Front Physically Whipped Allen's O-line. Tough Break For The Longhorn's Defense Giving Up 14 Points And Losing The Ball Game. Good Luck To Allen In The Area Round, Anything Could Happen.

I think playoff experience for Allen was a key factor in last night's game. The team stepped it up (particularly the defense) and did what they needed to do to win the game.

Cedar Hill is a talented team that lost its poise a couple of times, and rightfully so. It's pretty hard to recover emotionally from not scoring a touchdown when you're on the 1 yard line and you have two downs to try.

I'm sure that both teams in last night's game were aware that whoever won would likely face a formidable opponent next week - either the reigning Class 5A - Division II State Champion or the team that knocks them off. But neither team let that prospect enter their minds during the game. Both played their heart and guts out until the last minute, and that's all you can ask for.

I was very impressed with the way Nathan performed after being out for 5 straight games. The coaches switched him and Pickup around every once in awhile so he would not injur himself again. As for Charles, he had a deep bruise in his thigh but him and Nathan should both be OK for SLC (or Irving Mac possibly?)

Cedar Hill fumbled 3 times and lost all 3 of them. 2 of the fumbles were forced though so don't think that they were playing sloppy or anything. Not a bad season for the Longhorns at all.

When Cedar Hill was going to for the tie in the 3rd that fumble killed em. You elminate those fumbles it might of been a different game I put Allen on upset alert for this one. My home district is pretty bad this year I think Duncanville would've atleast beat PESH this year if they had went. But Cedar Hill should be a decent team next year,
