Judson football Scholarships

can anyone tell me the percentage of scholarships are offered to judson players each year, I never here of anyone going D1. Is this school known for scholarship offers, or is it just a bunch of great talent.

Every so often Judson has some of its players go D1. I don't know of too many lately though. The teams of the 90's had quite a few, but nowhere near other top programs. When you see the success Judson has had you would think they would have D1 talent year in and year out, but they haven't. I think that makes the programs accomplishments even more remarkable. Go Rockets!!

not one player from last year's semi-final team went to a major college and this year is the same story, Normally Judson teams are made up of a bunch of average football players that come together and play very well together and alot of that is coaching, But now remember alot of the old coaches have gone over to the new high school and I feel that was one of Judson's problems this year is they lost some great coaches. Judson will beat Seguin this friday ROCKET PRIDE will come through.

Judson has had a few players go D1 in football - Brent Mcollum(BYU), Cory Sears(miss. st.), Darnell Stephens(Clemens), Earl Kauffman (BYU), Derwin Gray (BYU), Eric Brown ( Miss. St.), michael hendrick and robert reed went to UT. among others --

Buck (Center) went to the Air Force Academy then transfered Texas State(Southwest Texas). Titus Brothers went to Nebraska. Brenden Flannery went to Stephen F Austin and started every year. Aaron Ivey went to Sam Houston and is now starting. I went slow I mean Sul Ross and Dustin Quinney went to Angelo State and is now at home like me. Also Quinten Demps who went to Judson his Freshman through Junior years then transferred to Roosevelt is a playmaker for the UTEP Miners. Thats from the 2002 season. Kyle Fox is tearing people up right now at Angelo State and my Brother is getting a full ride to Midwestern State.

Still not alot of players go to major college programs. But Judson has always been known for team playing not individual play, GO ROCKETS GO beat Seguin.

How can you guys forget about probably the greatest player in judson history, Jerard Douglas (Baylor). Also back in 1986 RB Chris Samuals played his senior year for the Rockets then played at Texas and in the NFL for the San Diego Chargers for one year. And last and least, Chris Pryor played a grand total of one game for Texas A&I back in 1984.

Copperas Cove should have at least 3 D1 players. Garner QB, Atchison S, and Buckram RB are definites. Also a couple of linebackers have shots and maybe 1 d-linemen

Good, I'll go watch him, but that gives me a dilemma. Do I root for the hometown guys with the good lineman or Angelo St. with my favorite RB? :confused:
