I'm just curious how many schools out there have books or media guides that detail your program's history and list all of the game scores from past seasons, etc.
I've heard of Friday Night Lights and the Mojo books, but I was curious about others. I know Valdosta in GA has a "Media Guide" that does this, as does West Monroe in LA.

I notice you are from SC. Is McKissick still coaching at Summerville?

Yes he is... though he's in hot water at the moment. One of his JV coaches played an ineligible player for 7 games.. almost got them banned from the playoffs this year.

My gosh... he's been doing this well over 50 years. I know because I am over 50 and I remember him from my days in SC. I hope you find what you are looking for.. I can't help. If you by any chance are looking for SC info, I found Dave Pickren (who writes for the Greenville SC paper) to be very helpful.

actually I'm writing a book about two teams in my area of S.C that is going to be half history/half media guide type thing, so I was hoping to pick up some others to use as examples. I usually follow the TX playoffs, so while I was here I thought I'd ask.
I've got "Media Guides" for both Valdosta GA & West Monroe LA now, but nothing from Texas yet other than the Mojo histories and Friday Night Lights of course.

You might get in touch with Dave Campbell 's Texas Football http://www.texasfootball.com/ .... they might be able to give you some direction.
What two teams are you doing this for?
