i saw it will be Garland vs Carter.....Creekview is not very good.... and Garland looks like it has a good shot against JT

Carter should have an easy time with Creekview, but the Garland vs JT game should be a good matchup....

Not looking past Garland at all or even assuming that Carter would win but, I think the "football god's" may want to see this one happen. Correct me if I'm wrong but, I really don't think Alan Wilson had even met any of the current JT players. So it would probably mean more to the John Tyler fans than to any of the players. Maybe, we'd also get to see why it was so hard for teams to stop the dreaded "cutback".

I just hope its not one of those triple header garbage deals that Jones boys keep doing. The last game is scheduled at 9, MAYBE in those deals. LBJ aint no fun at 2 AM. I would rather see them play at the new Kinkaid stadium, or the Carter High School parking lot :(

no no no no..... our team is in no way is looking past jt..... they said that since we got into this week they have been practicing harder than ever, and i know for a fact that everyone is ready to face a good jt team and in no way is underestimating them.

I'm saying it's like we've all been complaining about penalties all year long and we still commit tons of them week in and week out...the players have little to no discipline and Jordan doesn't seem to be showing iron-fisting ruling over the players like he should be. From the rumors I've heard (yes, i acknowledge they are just rumors), we are looking past JT totally and we are just perfectly ready to be upset...Please prove me wrong, but it is troublesome at times.

Seriously dude, just going to the game doesn't mean much. Our players have plenty of discipline, "little to no" is a drastic overstatement. Coach Jordan doing nothing about it is crap! You know nothing of what you speak, it is a fact that players *avoid* these personal fouls.. why? because they are punished for them in perspiration and have their playtime limited when it is blatant. Jordan is doing his best with his team, a team that is focused on the game and focusing on winning the game. I really want to know who you talked to when you heard any "rumors" of anything. The Owls are NOT looking past anyone, playoffs are here, it's not some sissy non-district anymore. .. BTW Your JV-Frosh Football buddies don't count.

For each personal foul the players have to run a certain amount...I believe it is 1/2 a mile and then they have to do a series of other exercises the day after the game. If you notice, Jordan also pulls the player for a few plays up to a series after their mishap. jordan does all he can.

I think the players are very focused...they have gone to tutorials this week for football to work on blocking schemes etc...Unless you talking to actual players dont worry about overconfidence.

Hopefully we'll be seeing yall in the second round...funny how itsround 2 of the playoffs and round 2 of our play this season...maybe its meant to be? ;)

Carter's Defense dismantled Creekview. They looked really dominate & expect a tougher opponent in the next round. Their offence was impressive with their passing game complimenting their running attack. Well like they said earlier, Carter took care of their end.

Carter looked good... I sat with some Garland coaches, and I know they were impressed...

He was awesome when we played week 4, if he has improved throughout the season, he is a force to be wreckoned with... Has your passing game improved? Becasue when you guys played Garland, both teams had little to no passing attacks.

I dont know about everyone else, but if someone calls your team and home town trashy, even if its a joke, it would piss me off...
