Dave Campbell's Texas Football has made its predictions for the playoffs... check them out... They have The Woodlands coming out of Region II to face ET... should be an interesting Semi game if that happens!!!

I like the depth of Texas football's 5a playoff predictions, however after all the reading the simply went with the AP's top 2. I AM NOT SAYING those r stupid picks at all, just interesting that the only upsets was a borderline one in Longview over Lufkin, and mild one of Pearland over Northshore, very interesting....

Now that Dave Campbell has picked Pearland to beat Northshore, I feel even better about the Mustangs chances. Old Dave hasn't been doin so good on his picks lately. I do agree with Dave that Westfield has a leg up on everybody else. THEY ARE LOADED. Reminds me of 2003 NS.

Since Dave has stupid Season Rankings like out of nowhere (maybe) but he has a good playoff predictions though that most people agree with his prediction.

I know Old Dave ain't what he used to be and they can't be expected to keep up with everything on every team, but if you point out an All-American on a team, shouldn't you at least be aware that his high school career is over due to a broken leg? :rolleyes: It's been three weeks. You figure that would've come up during the research phase. :confused:

I agree about hoping to fly in under the radar. I picked my region 2 brackets the same as Dave, but I don't think there are many people outside Leander that think the same.

I agree. Just like the Chronicle picking you no. 1. Good chance you will fall on the way to the title game. Guess we better start packing it in until next year

I said elsewhere that I was somewhat relieved that Pearland didn't go to D2 where they would be a big unknown to Katy. Nothing specific I could point to for a reason for that thought.

Sooner or later they will take the Shore. It could be this year.

I usually don't like Dave's pre-season picks but this one is seemingly well thought out and better researched. As everyone knows, Carroll has a tough row to hoe..but I think they can do it! We'll see...can't wait...
