They supposedly have a couple of star wide-receivers that just came off IR last week.

I would go on to say one of the weakest playoff teams in the field this year. Had they played in 6-5A they would probably square off with Grand Prairie to see who would finish last. They are here because of an incredibly weak district that features only two good teams and a slew of 6 bad teams which whoever decides to show up for 3rd will go as well.

Weatherford, with everyone healthy, would play well ahead of Gp. They would have definitely competed with your Bell team and Irving. They went for a stretch without 2 or 3 key players and they just do not have depth to play on a high level with those losses. Remember with the old Grapevine coach at their helm he will get everything he can out of that team. They have a couple of good wide receivers. That said, Abilene should win this one as the 4 or 5 returning starters have jelled with the others that stepped up. I think it will be less than two scores at the end, though.

Looks like you and PurpleHaze hit this one right on the head.... 28 - 0 Abilene over Weatherford and not even half way through the 2nd qtr.

The announcers on the TSRN feed said that Abilene will have to play in Lubbock next week if Monterey wins. SLC almost lost there a couple years ago.

SLCFan... that was weird, the sound is now back on the Abilene game. I heard someone making a call and saying they lost the game; the guy said okay hold on and the then the sound came back. They must have lost their line.
