I just don't understand why San Angelo can not get a competative team on the field. Seems they get worse every year.

Some blame Central girls...
But I have no actual knowledge...
And it's not like all the good players live out in Lakeview area...
We're just having a down decade???

Are you saying the girls on the team are not playing well?:D I recall SA had some great teams and goos players in the past. I hate to see them where they are now.

It looks like Central did improve from their 56-0 loss to Copperas Cove, they scored twice against a ranked team.

The Bobcats definitely played a better game than what the score indicates. Some questionable decisions (quick kick from the endzone and going for it on the 30) really kinda steamrolled them I think. I felt like we put out a decent effort, but the Bobcats will come into play in this district one way or another. Playoff spots are all still wide open.

Only the first SA TD was legit.

Congrats, Per. & tough loss, SAC. I read about the game (didn't see it). But I wish Per. were not ranked @ all right now--fm. what I saw of Per. in the Duncanville game, we really shouldn't be ranked in the Top 25. Def. is not good enough. San Angelo likes its hs fb pretty well--they'll improve; I hope we do (Per. has potential, of course, but dist.'s already 1 game old, & Mojo has alot to work on; a really good opponent would have demolished Per. the last 2 weekends).
Agreed, it sounds like SAC played better than the score indicates (esp. the 1st qtr. or so--then some SAC mistakes caused things to start snowballing on them, & Per. took quick advantage of it). I'm happy about a Per. win, but I'm not "carried away" w/ it. I'm a little concerned, really. I hope the boys aren't believing those rankings b/c those rankings aren't justified right now--they might be later in the season if Mojo takes care of business over the next few wks. Are my expectations too high to enjoy the win?--maybe; expectations are always high @ Per.--that's the nature of the beast. :)

First, last week was not a good week reguarding practice, suffice to say it was a very very short week and with good reason. This offense will exceed that of last year. It's in place with the most depth I've ever seen on 42nd and Dawn. The D is eons behind that of last year but IMO, it's because of mental errors and not caused by a lack of material or effort. In truth the San Angelo game was a show up and get it over with deal. Kids who don't ever miss wide open, well placed passes could not hold on. Allman sees the warts and you 61, know what he brought to the program. All will be fixed before we lose a district game. Then............Who knows? However today by our performance so far, top 10 is a longggggg reach.

I'm real anxious to see what practice looks like this week. I'm guessing we will see much more intensity in all phases.

I got there @ 4:45 W & T and couldn't find it. That gives sense to the outcome of the game.
