No argument here on that....Clements is an average offense without speed, but can put together some nice drives between the 20's....capable of controlling the ball if they get a lead....THEY ARE CLOCK EATERS!

Hey the real question is which defense will show up....the Rangers can really play tough sometimes....so if you try to throw on them....they will pick you....

Katy should run with ease, Dalton can expect to be intercepted....They picked Marshall pretty good....

FINAL SCORE: KATY 27 FB CLEMENTS 7

I don't think the team that gave Lamar Consolidated a hard time is gonna show up......

I think Strake would have done better to get Clements. They would have won that game and got their feet wet in the playoffs. Now Marshall gets that role.

Actually, I wish Strake had gotten Clements too.....I wanted the Buffalo Soldiers to mount a surprise attack against Katy. You need any edge you can get against perennial winners.

My crystal rolled off my table before I could catch the score but I think Katy will win and Clements will bring it as well as they can.
I throw win/loss records out the window when playoffs begin. All the kids seem to give it their best come playoff time.

No offense Superbuffs, but Strake might mount their own suprise attack. Personally I hope Strake wins. Katy would love to get their hands on them. I can't wait to see that halftime show again. The Jesuits may have to say a few Hail Marys after getting a look at that.

I have to toot my horn here. 34 to 0 at the half,Clements only 2 first downs at that point.

Awesome! Oh great Karnak, do you have any vision of the Cy-Creek game? :D

Hey rock, I think you can expect pretty much the same. 35 - 0 first half. About 6 firsts in the first half. Creek is about the same kind of team as Clements. More successful in district this year than in recent years and others in district were down.

No doubt Katy will run Cy-Creek out of the stadium, so to get promptly ahead of myself, WestBrook looked pretty decent against Madison... my only worry as of right now is that we still havent played a good team, considering A&M consolidated beat woodlands almost exactly in the same fashion we did... is there a team laying low out there that can give Katy a run, or can i just stay home and watch UT these next few saturdays until we go play SV?

My 'gut feel' tells me Westbrook takes care of Clear Creek (4-7) and Katy takes care of business against Cy-Creek, setting up a rematch of the best high scholl football game finish I have ever seen - (1994 Westbrook/Katy) - that put Katy on the map, got them over the hump, whatever - the rest is history.....10 years later.

As much as I would love to see a Strake Jesuit/Katy Reg III final, I think Humble will get there....

One game at at time. I can guarantee the Katy players are not looking beyond that.

Good luck to all!

yeah that 1994 game me and my dad left early but i remember, yeah i mean you would have to assume we play westbrook then humble but in reality it doesnt matter, the region 3 teams are so weak anyways

You can only play the games put in front of you and do your best...regaion 3 will ultimately have a representative in the final four, and we'll take it from there.
