Great speech by Gov Palin tonight. She was tough but came off as sincere rather than cocky. I like the fact that her family looked somewhat uncomfortable on stage. Gave the impression that they were just regular people. Americans will gravitate to that.

Doubtful if McCain will run for a second term even if he won this time around. A Palin - HRC matchup in 2012 should come as no surprise to any of us.

On a final note, both Obama and McCain have become the supporting act it would seem, for Gov Palin. Poor Biden. Does anybody even remember that he's running?

I could see Palin being the Republic Presidential Nominee in 2012 but I couldn't see Hilary Clinton being the Democratic Presidential Nominee.

1. If Obama loses he will run and beat Hilary in the primaries again.

2. If Obama wins he will run for re-election.

3. If McCain wins I seriously doubt he will run for a second term being a 76 year old man, if he is in fact still alive.

Regardless of how this election turns out I wouldn't be surprised to see a Palin vs Obama 2012 campaign.

1. I don't see Obama being as successful the second time around...you can only use that hole change and hope bit once in my opinion.....

This is it for Obama. If he loses, he won't be the nominee in 2012 or any other year. No way. No how. It will be white dudes/women as the Democratic nominees for at least the next 10 elections.

Why don't you just send me the check instead? Reagan was in his 70's as President and lived through Bush, Clinton, and Bush. Bush Sr. is alive and has been out of office for 16 years and was old as President.

Palin is going to be the 45th President. I thought that early in her speech.

Yeah...but he also looked healthy.

John McCain looks like he limping along.
