They'll shut up anyway if Madison beats them. The Mavs only have 1 loud mouth on here, not 50! :p Madison can save us 3 weeks of pain. Then again, Reagan could've taken a chunk out of me, but the board gets to enjoy more of me! ;)

This scenario will not play out. I don't see Madison playing with Clemens. They may score some points, but in the end too much Clemens defense and no enough from Madison. Clemens will advance IMO - Madison will be 1 and done IMO. Good luck to both teams, however, I just hope its a good game.

Madison will win if they can step it up on defense and minimize turnovers on offense. They played ok against SV but if they want a shot against clemens they answer is defense and no mistakes on Offense.

Clemens hasn't been tested all year excpet for the san marcos game. Any playoff team from 26-5a has been battle tested already and in my opionion will be more prepared for the playoffs. Good luck mavs.

LOL You won 1 time when you had a great back that is now playing at OU and he won that game by himself in the last couple of minutes when he drove them the length of the field and would not be tackled! Sorry, but you don't have him anymore! You couldn't even beat us when you had the best team in the district in 01' or 02' (sorry, but games won over Madison are not big on my list like the win over CJ in 03')! LOL We spanked your A$$E$ that year too!

Thanks 316, and make sure that the Rattlers take care of business this weekend! We'll probably agree about a whole lot of things when our teams are scrapping against other districts, but I would not count on that when we meet SM in 3 weeks for the region title! GO 25-5A! :)

If it didn't, why in the hell would they call it home field or home court advantage? The field or the court are the same dimension, aren't they? The advantage is to have your home team fans in numbers stirring up the pot and getting you stoked to play to 110% of your potential!

I'm not sure I'm buying that, but since I haven't seen Clemens play and am going strictly on this board and the newpaper I have to give Madison more of a chance, but I still think Clemens should and will win this game. Bottom line is Madison's "D" will have to step up big time for them to win IMO !!

I will admit as anyone with any kind of a brain would, that Clemens is not as good without Henry. No team anywhere could be the same after loosing as great of a player as him. However, our defense is still in tact and we have kids that can do the job at TB.

I also agree that Madison can hang with Clemens but we should win the game barring any major mistakes. I also agree that the Mavs D will have to step it up because if they allow Clemens to put up more than 21 on them I think their goose will be cooked! I could be wrong, but I don't see them putting up more than 21 on our D unless they have one hell of a game or we just flat stink it up. I also beleive that Ferrara will open it up a bit if need be. Our QB is talented and has improved throwing the football dramatically in the last 10 weeks! He also has receivers who can flat out play!

Bottom line is that if SC and Madison both play there best game, SC wins by 10! If not, anything is possible in Texas on Friday night in the fall.

In most HS games like SV vs. SM, both sides will have the same amount of fans in most cases. In college, it makes a differnce because some of the "away" games are 1200 miles away, and college kids cant make the trip. So 90% of the stands are filled with "home fans" In HS no matter where the games are come playoff time, almost everyone that attends the home games, will attend the away game, if not more during playoffs.

I beleive you are exactly right. The key for Clemens will be containing Caflish. But, if you spend to much on him, Green can burn you as well! If our D-line controls the line of scrimmage, Madison will be in trouble, and visa versa!

i dont think clemens will make it far into the playoffs.from what tape ive seen of them ,there play is sloppy,lineman get tired and lazy fast and...they dont have james henry anymore.i think madison will get on them early and take the game by 10 points.
