Rider is one of the big dogs in 4A, #2 or 3 in most polls. We know what Cedar Hill is bringing. What's your take??

it should be a war; both teams have alot of talent; this could come down to who has the ball last.

I'll stay with the 7-5A homer pick. CH 38 - 14.

I believe both teams have plenty of weapons. Rider has a Michigan commit as well as a OU commit, so they will be ready. CHILL has a game under their belt already, so hopefully that gives us a small edge. we need to limit mistakes, and pass a tad bit more to keep them of balance...

Cedar Hill has too much in the trenches and depth for Rider, they pull away to the count of 34-17.

I believe it will be more like 44-7. This game once again will help prove just how bad the national polls are. Rivals actually has Rider ranked and not CH.

Probably right here. I think Cedar Hill will get them in the overall "trench play."
But, overall skill and speed wont be that much different (IMO).
I can see a 35-21 type of game.
Cedar Hill already has one game under their belt and WFR hasnt played yet right ? That also gives CH an edge.

Coming from a guy who actually has seen the players, this will not be a contest. CH has way too much speed, size and overall talent top to bottom.

CH is impressive. This will be a game I keep in eye on. WFR has some Top end skill athletes.
You might be right about overall Team speed and size however.
Watching Cedar Hill vs LaSalle (Oh) last week. Cedar Hill had that team on everything. That team (LaSalle) looked like an average Texas 4A team too me so I'm expecting a better and stronger showing from WFR.
I'm thinking (35-21) type of score. What do you think ?

Frog- La Salle was very lucky that CH turned it over 3 times. That game could have really got out of hand. Most teams improve the most between game one and two. Rider did not play in zero week. Is that correct? I just can't see this game being all that close. I will stick with my 44-7 score with CH winning. I can tell you this, CH coaches believe WFR is very good.
Like I was saying the other day. The first team that makes CH throw the ball because of solid run defense will have opportunity to win against them.

La Salle was very lucky. That final score really doesnt even indicate the total butt kicking CH put on them. CH dominated them in every phase of that game. That KR by La Salle was a simple breakdown in coverage and I think the touchdown run was because CH just "Let up."
Anyway, that game was basically a practice because CH gets better competition against their JV team and I'm 100% sure of that.
I agree about the Week 1 and Week 2 and getting better. So in that sense Cedar Hill has a big boost.
Wow !!! That's a big point spread you have there (44-7). I cant go that big just yet.
Agreed about the passing. If Cedar Hill cant establish a stronger passing game they probably wont last long when it gets to Mono-e-Mono games.
The CH QB is impressive with his athletic skills but he is young and has some work to do on the passing skills.
As impressive as CH powerful running game is.. They will come across a few teams that will slow them down and make them have to complete some vital passes. That's a 100% fact.

I think Rider was better last year than they'll be this year. The ranking is mostly hype from having a couple of 2 year starters as seniors.
Scott Pond(er) Scum isn't that great of a coach, anyway. They'll blow it in the playoffs again.

easy cowboy. roho will be a team that will go deep into the playoffs and have a shot at winning the whole thing. You cannot say a team is going to just win state. There are too many factors that go into winning once you get past the 3rd round of the playoffs.
I do not think you blow it if you make that kind of a run; i know better than anyone that you need a little luck in the playoffs and maybe roho will get it this year, but in the same token maybe they wont. that doesn't mean the team NOR THE COACH blew anything!
41-24 ch!
stop blaming the coaches it is hard and :Censor: near impossible to win a state championship; those who have one know exactly what i'm talking about.

yea; they will be there. ch will not be worried about "the haka" till saturday or sunday. All thoughts and concerns should be about roho. This is a team you can't look over or ahead of.
i think they will be more of a challenge for ch than hebron ever could be.

I'm going to say Cedar Hill by a score of 41-35. There will be tons talent and speed on both sides, and it's going to get very exciting!
I know Rider will come to play... There good, real good. They can run and pass very well... They have alot of speed and talent. But defensively I dont think they can stop CH, at least not for 4 quarters.
I pick Chill 38-28

the chill defense is dominating the line of scrimmage so far. shavodrick has not had the time to set up most of his passes. hopefuly we carry that into the second half...

Ya Man, it's alright. I've been wrong here.
Sounds like one heck of a game and Cedar Hill was lucky to pull it out at the end. I saw the highlights and if the WFR QB doesnt miss that snap late in the game--- LOOK OUT.
Anyway, Good Game and Yes. It proves how deep the quality of Tx HS is.;)

Ya, I just dont know how a Texas 4A team does that..
Last year Texas High tied (6A) Arkansas High 20-20. The only thing is (6A) Arkansas High went on to win the Arkansas State Title and at the time of the game were ranked like #23 in the nation in some of the BS mythical National Polls.

ECA will probably be a dogfight (Louisiana Private school).
I think Arkansas High gets beat fairly easy.
