So, it looks like I am ditching my late Thursday class and my early Friday class to come back down to Garland for the Thursday night... Garland VS South. It has always been the biggest rival game, but with #13 and #10 rankings... should be interesting.

I wonder if Garland's ranking will be as high as it is now after they get through that brutal non-district schedule.

How long has it been since teams ranked in the statewide top twenty played on a Thursday night?

The schedule will only help the Owls later in the season and during the playoffs. That is of course barring any injuries.

The Owls as a collective whole seem to have some trouble with humility. Being ranked high in preseason is great....for preseason, but once august comes around, we're all ranked in last place. Garland needs to earn that #10 spot, and work from there.
