No one should pass USC untill they lose... its not like USC had a bad game, they just gave up some points...

as long as Texas and USC are 1 and 2 then there is nothing wrong with the poll, those two are clearly the best teams in the country and will decide who number one is come Jan 2006.

I just want Tech to keep moving up so they have an outside shot to get a BCS bowl. They're #11 this week, but the human polls are holding them back. They do better with the computers.
As long as UT and USC play for the national championship, the polls mean nothing. Don't count out Alabama! They do have a tough road but what if they do win out. SEC strength of schedule plus the conf. championship game. That could make things very interesting!

Notre Dame will prevent them from a BCS bowl. They are garaunteed a BCS bowl if they are in the BCS top 12.

UT can settle it on the field. I personally feel if Texas had not lost in over 2 years and was jumped we would all be pissed. Let USC stay #1 and we will see at the end of the year.

LSU is almost as overrated as Alabama.

especially with that coach. Who in Louisiana thought that Les Miles was good enough for a program a year removed from a National Championship?
