There are also happenings at Newcastle. Kevin Keegan was apparently fired today and then Newcastle issued a statement saying that Kevin Keegan is still the manager. We have not heard the last of this. I think there are going to be unwelcome changes at Newcastle – unwelcome to the fans at least. Managing Newcastle has almost become an impossible job.

they picked up a forward from spain. he plays for the U-21 spanish team. he played for the same team as carloccini. dont know how to spell his name but hes the starting center bcak for newcastle. oh and they also lost milner to Aston Villa which i think will hurt them a bit.

Thank god we finally got Berba! What a long, drawn out transfer saga that was.
Count me in for those who are happy Robinho didn't go to Chelski. I love how Man City believes they are going to challenge for the top 4 now.

Sorry to quote myself - but I just had feeeling about this. As it transpired Kevin Keegan has resigned and the local fans are not happy, blaming the new owner - Mike Ashley for forcing Keegan out. Mike Ashley, even though he is the owner watches all the games, wearing a 'King Kev' shirt, while sitting with the regular fans in the 'cheap' seats - I bet Mike Ashley watches the next game from his box.
