As a die-hard Lufkin fan and alum...it was painful to watch Terrance struggle like he did against UT. And now on Monday...the locals are ready to run him out of town. I listened to the local ESPN call-in show...and people around here were all over Terrance...
Granted he did not have a great game. But look who he was facing...
I mean ...c'mon...talk about throwing a kid into the fire...
I will say...it looks as though he has gained a good 40lbs or more since his Lufkin days. And does not look like he is anywhere near as mobile as he once was...But he had no time in the pocket ...all day...they were all over him.
The fact that the QB he replaced (Bell) is a Central Texas boy doesn't make it any easier.
I say give him another shot against Mizzou. You can't base your opinion on the Texas game alone. That would be plain dumb. He is a gifted athlete....and I hope things get better for #5....

I got to watch T. Park play a few times in Lufkin. I thought he was very good and to be honest... some people thought he was better then Reggie McNeal.
I thought in the Texas game he really didnt look that bad. He just had "zero time" to do anything. Hard to come for your first game of the year and face Texas. Almost not fair really. I think everyone will see a totally different performance this week against Mizzou.
The S. Bell kid would of done no better against Texas.......

Exactly what I was thinking...I mean...there is a reason why Guy Morriss benched him...In 3 quarters against Tech...Bell put up 0 points...

I think it's mostly due to the fact that baylor had been competitive for 3 qtrs the last couple games. They just didn't snap to the fact that he was thrown to the wolves against the eventual national champs.

I think that Parks actually did really well. He was able to make plays, just not when they mattered the most. It is really hard to come in and start your first game of the season against one of the best defenses in the country that goes up against the best dual threat quarterback in the country in practice.

Terrence is the best qb Baylor has with Bell going erratic - so the Waco fans can shut it - but he should be playing tight end or h-back. He was very under-rated on our '02 state championship squad at that position.

I have been tempted to call in and tell these clowns just that. The kid is a great athlete...and it isn't written anywhere that you HAVE to play him at QB...Of course this is Baylor we are talking about...and that's probably why they are just that............Baylor.

From my very little experience with waco, is that most of the people that live there do not know anything about football, but they think that they know everything.
