Will Texas Stadium be destroyed after the 2008 season? I saw several people selling actual seats on Ebay, for after this season. I know the stadium is owned by the city of Irving and thought it would be kept open for high school games, etc.

Jerry may attempt to sell off bits and pieces of the place, but the facility itself is almost certainly a goner after this season.

The seats are being sold by the stadium owners themselves, not just people on ebay. You can buy two attached seats for about $650.

they are gonna nuke it after this year - as big of a dump as it has become due to neglect, etc, i for one will be sad to see it go. lots of great games happened on that field... i hope the new place is as open to hosting HS games...

Bass Pro Shops has acquired it and after the season they plan to fill it with water and hold fishing tournaments there. You heard it hear first.

It definitely comes down and I think an Outlet Mall is supposed to go into the location.
