What do you think the biggest blowout in Round 1 is going to be.
As for me its an easy pick, Abilene is going to destroy Weatherford. Weatherford is pretty weak for a team, they are in the playoffs because they have even worse teams below them in weak 4-5A. Regular 0-10'ers such as Paschal, Boswell and Burleson provide easy wins for the district. If they were in 6-5A they would do no better than 7th, with a game against Grand Prairie that will be too close to call.

Lufkin will beat Harker very easy.

This is a high school thread man! And the Texans aren't getting blown out every game either. ;)

If you check out Smoaky's site, it would appear that the JT - Garland game will be no contest, with CUJO crushing the slow and overmatched Owls. ;)

What is Smoaky saying about Longview over South Garland. Does anybody think that will be a close game?

Lol, the way some of these J rock fans are talking it will probably be Judson over Seguin.

It sure as heck better not be close.

I can't even imagine what the Longview/SG game would be like if Longview's LBs had not gotten hurt so early in the season. Too bad they won't be back or they would be a lock to go deep (not that they aren't already!)

Smoaky is ridiculous. I never trust a word he says. I'm sure he's picked SG over Longview in a close one.

This will be his first game back?? I guess I missed something from Slim's post??

I'm pretty sure two of the LBs were hurt in the Marshall game, but I thought they were both out for the season--SG is in for it if they're back!

Euless Trinity will be a blow out, I also think Longview,Lufkin, and SLC have easy ones as well. I really think the Garland team has a good chance over John Tyler

That's an easy one for me, too. Abilene can make the score anything they want it to be this weekend. I'll be shocked if I get proven wrong on this one.

Lufkin is very talented and fast. Never saw Goodson run down from behind but they had 5 players gaining on him before #3 caught him after 40 yard run. They will walk through the first 2 rounds then will run into better challenges.

Agreed. I watched North Crowley dismantle Weatherford this year and Abilene dismantle North Crowley in the playoffs last year. This game will be ugly for Roos fans.

From what I've heard Tony Johnson is SUPPOSED to be back for this South Garland game.
BTW they were both hurt in the West Monroe game. Only player that went out in the game vs Marshall was Chris Ivory due to the heat.

I don't know much about Creekview but that they are a third place team from what most people say is a weak district.
Plus many people don't expect much from Carter in the playoffs anyway.

Just got word Johnson is back. Played a little in the game vs JT. Must not of noticed. I saw him on the sidelines suited up but he had been like that for the past couple of games.

Same can be said the other way man. You are always instigating J-Rock fans, don't get upset when they predict your team to lose.
O'Conner vs Victoria Memorial shouldn't be a close one.

Okaaaaayyy....And most of smoaky's listeners and most of the posters on the board would be from??? Maybe, Tyler??? I mean what do you expect to see on an East Texas message board. Besides, to most East Texans the lasting impression your beloved Owls left behind at Rose Stadium...was__________.

Berkner may beat Skyline by a couple of touchdowns.
Plano should beat Desoto by more than 2 TDs. Maybe 3 or 4.
Of course, none of these qualify as the BIGGEST blowout.
