Good game tonight.
The positives for CP:
Kingwood were supposed to be good this year and they were. But College Park's young team were better tonight. All due respect to Kwood, CP were better than that score.
Very encouraging for CP to get this win particularly at Reliant given that it's virtually last year's JV team. Tonight should give them a confidence boost.
Halftime adjustments were great on both sides of the ball. Kingwoods only score in the 2nd half was off an interception which was downed in CP'S 5 yd line.
The play of the RB's Osborne and Stewart. Both had strong games
Both QB's had good games
The negatives (or things that need improvement)
3 TD's and 3 missed extra points - says it all (it's a special teams problem and not a kicker problem. it looked that way from where i was sitting)
Receivers were getting open. Need to get them the ball sooner. Timing was a little off on the passes. No biggie. Nothing they can't fix in practice
I'm sure Coach Carson has his reasons but I can't figure out why we're rotating QB's. Almost sure we would have been better off tonight not doing it. But these are pre district games and technically do not count. Guess he feels it's better to have 2 QB's with a decent amount of reps when the games that matter roll around. I have to respectfully disagree.
