Why wouldn't WISD Stadium get playoff games? Located in the center of the state, great facilities, easy access to highways, plenty of eating establishment in the area.

Yes very good spot for playoff games......out in the elements. The reason I think teams are might be down about the Alamo Dome being off limits for the Play offs this year is that it brings an X factor for teams who are used to playing in the dome. Later in the Playoffs the weather may become a factor(X-factor)to some teams who like to throw the ball and the Alamo Dome did away with that factor. Coaches don't have to plan for that and don't like to. That is why you see most State Championship games in Texas Stadium, Alamo Dome, and Astro Dome along with the big venue. Hell what do I know lol....

we beat allen at waco isd in 2000 in the 2nd round so we are 3-1 there...which who did we lose to there...i think we are undefeated at waco isd...and i think we won a game at floyd casey in 2000 or 1999

2 years ago, Mt. Pleasant had 6 games the first week of the playoffs. That's what happens when you open a new stadium that's real nice.

Ol' Abe Martin has three games scheduled this week and next week another three are already on the schedule. The new turf and jumbotron helped and also being located right in the middle of a bunch of 2A, 3A and 4A schools. We may host as many as 12-14 games this year, a record for us.

Not at the moment. But I am sure the best way would be to have a pre-game or halftime meeting. There would be so many fans in the stands that a t-shirt or hat would be kinda hard to read.
