I haven't been on the boards for a couple of day. Looking down through the threads it seems that every thread eventually becomes an argument between Lufkin vs. Longview. Three weeks from now will be an absolute war if both teams make it that far. But between now and then we still have 2 other play-off teams that we need to beat first. I hope the players are not as distracted by this potential game as the posters on this board. If they are, neither team will make it that far. :cool:

*sighs*...I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing..I can't wait for the game to happen (if it does) but all the smack talk..Lord. I think I'll just stay away from every board that week until Saturday night or Sunday morning.

Good point. My intentions were good though. I'm just trying to keep Lufkin and Longview fans from hi-jacking every thread on the board. :cool:

I have a ton of respect for Longview and they could very well win state - they have the talent to do it. However, I am officially on a Longview-free month - I will not post about Longview or any Lobo forumites here - period. Nothing personal against anyone - but the forum needs a break from this and it has to start somewhere. Plenty more good teams to talk about.

you do a very good job of avoiding it. I have said before that I would avoid it but I always end up talking about it again. I think I will try harder. lol

it would be better than this Longview/Lufkin crap that is posted non-stop!!! Longview doesn't have a leg to stand on, but LONGVIEW people will still run their heads constantly about Lufkin---pretty stupid!! as for Lufkin, most of their fans think that they are totally invincible and cannot be beaten....even if we did happen to win one, it would still be thrown in our faces that it's only ONE---still have nine to go(or something like that)....it really never gets anything started but a bunch of childish arguing....and, i have been guilty of getting into it, as well :cool:

I wish all the Lufkin guys would just pay attention to their own team and let everybody else worry about their own team or the game they will play next. We let our talking be done on the field and that should be enough, but no, it seems like we do stick our nose in every thread here. I bet that the Lufkin, Longview and Southlake crew are the top posters on this site besides Lonny23.

This sounds just like the old West. The young buck would call out the veteren gun slinger. The veteren would tell the kid that he really did not want to do that but the kid persisted. In the showdown the kid is the one that left the field in a pine box. The only way the veteren was killed was if somebody ambushed him and shot him in the back! (upset).

Welcome to the playoff Plano! There are a lot of veterns just waiting for you to call them out! Good Luck to all who get to play in the "Second Season"!
