Is it normal for the temperature to be 104 in May out here? It doesn't feel that hot, but dang.

It occassionally happens. It will cool down slightly again. But get ready for June, July, and August. :eek:

Right now even Basic Training in SanDiago sounds good, it cant be as hot there as it is here!

don't bet on it. some of the inland areas reach 115's, of course it's a dry heat, kind of like a toaster oven.

all the Navy guys will be out there yelling and
laughing at you through the fence. It's a tradition. My Dad said they
were doing that back in '64 when he was in SanDog...and
we did it when I was there in '99.
