Player/Team of the Week for Region II

I vote for Westlake in their come back victory over Hays and either Foles or Jobe as player of the week in Region II. You mist give them strong consideration.

In support of my position:

"Quarterback Nick Foles and receiver Staton Jobe connected on a pair of late touchdown passes — the final one with 31 seconds on the clock — to give Westlake a 31-30 victory. Foles and Jobe were nearly unstoppable down the stretch, combining on passes of 31, 24, 28 and 7 yards in the final four minutes. The 24-yard catch was a touchdown that narrowed Hays' lead to 30-24. With fans from both sides standing and screaming on every play, Foles, a junior, calmly guided the Chaps to the end zone. The game-winning drive was capped by Jobe's 7-yard reception on the right side of the end zone. Covered by Hays' defense as the play developed, Jobe found an open gap to his left and Foles drilled a perfect pass into his gut."

Great comeback by Westlake. That should send them into the game with Pflugerville riding a wave of momentum.
