The top 4 spots didn't surprise me any, however seeing us at 5 was a little bit of a shocker since every other poll has us close to 9 or 10. Other than us being at 5, it seems like it's pretty much the same ole same ole as most other polls.

*chuckle* And like most polls, merely guesses until someone actually plays a game. :D

They have Trinity way too high. Please move them down to 18 or 19.

I think that's a good top 10...pretty similar to what we are thinking, so of course I like it. :)

All 10 have a tough schedule from the beginning. I expect to see things change shorly after the opening bell. Northshore - Katy. That sounds like a state semi final not an opening season game. Ouch.

If that top 10 is right, it makes for a nice schedule...

SLC vs NorthShore
Katy vs NorthShore
Trinity vs Allen

I find it interesting that they have Jackson Richards going to Tech. I thought he was a junior this year. I heard there was a guy in 3rd grade that just committed to Georgia and inked a contract with the NY Giants for 2020!

this poll lost some cred with me, unless I'm mistaken.

Much as I hope this to be an accurate assessment, it is still placing a pretty high valued assessment on an unproven Dragon offense this season. But other that that, it is simply yet one more set of opinions on those teams which have established themselves in recent seasons. We will certainly find out a whole lot more in the next four days or so.

I think that Texas Tech is quite high on Jackson and vice versa. There are certainly some roots in that direction. Other Carroll juniors have also received substantive inquiries and expressions of interest from other D-1 schools. Of course, none of this is binding on a junior, nor even a senior until everybody signs on the dotted line.

ET's first three opponets John Curtis, Cedar Hill & Allen present different styles of very very tough teams. If they come out of that 3-0, they deserve high national ranking but until then -it's all perception in the ratings Hats off to Lineweaver for the scheduling.
