Many of us fans/former players always had/have something they did/do to prepare for the game. For me, it was music. Here is just a sample of the old walkman "gameday mix"

What were/are some things you do to prepare for game time?

As a fan we usually try and hit Chili's before games and have a few adult soda pops.

This is well documented on here, but I suit up in one of those Hutch unis and sting block random strangers...and I roll through 'em.

I used to eat at the Colters across from Lewisville High School but since it is no longer in business I just eat whatever is on my mind. Usually ends up being some sort of BBQ.
I also listen to Big Bad John by Johnny Cash since that is the theme our Band plays before any kickoffs and on big 3rd down plays while we are on defense.
After the game, now thats a different story and one we wont get into ;)

Friday Game = Footlong meatball sub late afternoon, followed by a meal after the game.

Saterday = Getting up early enough to actually eat breakfast.

Thursday (we have one this year) = "Eye fo the Tiger"

All = laughing at the thought of KT2000 in his hutch uni

Well, its pretty intense actually :D

Because Im in band I get into the stuff I wear under the uni, put on the all important red bandana... And then I get my two red pom-pom things  :p before I get on the bus... When we get on the bus I listen to music that either is about Texas or just has a lot of energy

I usually start with "Come Back to Texas" by Bowling for Soup because its all about why Texas is awesome - although it doesnt mention football they got the right idea

Then I move onto songs like "Thunderstruck" and stuff like that...

At the game I never sit (unless there is an injury)...

When the game is on a Friday... The school day takes forever... They do blast music between periods though... But then we have that Pep Rally taking up the last 30 mins of school... And its all great from there... :)

Im kinda jealous of everyone... Our first actual football game is Saturday September 6th! That first game litterally couldnt be a day later! But at least I dont have to suffer through a bye week in the middle of the season

Home games start with me and my better half arguing about how early we are going to leave. Come to think of it, away games start the same way. She loves the games but hates too much pre game. She does get up at 4:30 AM to go to work. I digress.

She usually wins so dinner is at the stadium.

6 hours earlier... I am getting nothing done at work except staring at this board and doing deep breathing excercises so as to avoid hyper-ventalation.

I prepare by lining up my Green shirts and seeing which one has the less wear and tear on it. I choose that one. Then I gather my Eagles homies and we take off for the stadium - wherever it may be. This week we are going to Hullaballoos first though before we hit Bryan's stadium!! If it's good enough for Guy Fiere it's good enough for moi!

I never understand fans that go eat a huge meal before a big game, or load up with food at the game.

Light meal, pop a Pepto bismol if it's the PO's, then sip on water or Coke until outcome is known (if before end of game) - THEN I go for the Frito pie.

I eat big several hours pregame at least 4. That way it is digested, but I am not hungry.

I usually hang out with the guys and listen to a large series of hardcore/pump up songs...

Really gets me in the mood to see some football.

There was a CD that coach would play in the locker room before every game. It had some great songs on it.

Mr Williams has ok'd me to make a new video of Tevin, he wanted to get a more comprehensive video of Tevin than allready exists. I told him I'd do it and was hoping he'd give me a good musical score I could work with...but he says he want's Lil Wayne :(

I love Raggae music but I would never use it for a football highlight video. What do you think of my nephew's Paul in my sig? Nice job?

Trojanalum693

Yeah that was a good job with your nephews video. I liked the song.

If Tevin wants Lil Wayne I say give him Lil Wayne. I am not a Lil Wayne fan myself but have heard a lot of him because my friends like him you can easily find a song that will fit Tevin's video.
