Tech is now 8-1 with OSU (away) and OU (home) remaining. It is possible that they will end up 10-1 and in the Cotton Bowl. Who would have thought this before the season. They have to take care of business, but this team is looking good now.

Their looking pretty good. Its going to come down to the Tech vs Oklahoma game I think...
Tech either goes to the Cotton or back to the Holiday Bowl to blow out probably UCLA or Oregon.

Tech is not going to be up for the Holiday Bowl because they were there last year.
Tech beats OU... they will play in Cotton.
Tech loses to OU... they will most likely go to Alamo
How much does that suck.

I dont know....??? Tech might be up for the Holiday Bowl again. They would get to go back to San Diego and play against the #2 Pac-10 team (UCLA or Oregon).
I would really like to see Tx Tech make the Cotton Bowl and play against one of the the top SEC teams like either (Bama, Auburn, LSU, Florida, Ga).
Everyone seems to think Tx Tech couldnt play with those (SEC teams) but I think Tx Tech would do very well against them.

I think Tech does go 10-1 and it will be a great season for them to do that. It means the program is on the rise. It's all about matchups with Tech. If they play a physical defense, they can score points, but if they play a fast defense, they might have some problems. They're a Top 10 team, but they aren't in UT's class. I say they would win the Alamo and Holiday Bowls and put up a good fight in the Cotton Bowl. I'm afraid that a few of those teams might beat Tech, though.

The OU game is shaping up to be HUGE for both programs. That's why I am worried about it. I honestly believe that Tech has the horses on O to score against OU this year. But, you better believe that Stoops will have his troops up for this game. If they win it, it will still be a respectable season for the Sooners-- 2nd in the South and a Cotton Bowl berth. A loss to Tech would be a disaster up in Norman, I guarantee the thought of the Alamo Bowl has the Land Theives reaching for pain killers. For Tech, obviously a 10-1 season will be a juge boost to the program, although 9-2 would still be one of the best seasons in recent memory. For recruiting though, 10-1 needs to happen. It will really help them to keep their foot on Aggies throat in the battle for Number 2 in the state of Texas.

Im back :)
anyways lol the ting to remeber is Ou is a very young team and there secondary is anchored by 2 freshmen safties. Tech will get them this year no problem, Ou is just 2 young i think to really challange tech with there defense. Now if Ou plays ball control with AD then maybe they stand a chance but other then that i dont think so.
