Did any of your coaches, whose playoff games were set, seem to call conversative games in week 10?

don't think this is exactly what your talking about but i'm VERY upset with the killeen high coaches!!! killeen is down by 2pts. (16-14) with 57 sec. on the clock, on the 17yrd. line, 4th and 3, they were going to kick the field goal, ellison called a time out and then the STUPID!!! killeen coaches changed the play and went for it instead of kicking the field goal. 17 yrd line, that's like what? a 34 yrd attempt. didn't get the 1st down and lost the game. i've talked to some of the players and they are really upset about this. coach said in todays paper that he didn't think his kicker could make that??? i know some females could kick that. even if he would have missed at least killeen would feel like they lost trying to win!

Owls didn't play our leading rusher, Dante Sloan...he left the game early last week with a sprained ankle but was cleared this week...didn't want him to reinjure I guess...

SLC held out two starters, kicker & DB, who likely will play next week in playoffs. It also looked like Coach Dodge didn't dust off the whole play book last night vs. Richland......especially in 2nd half.

Lufkin and Klein Collins were anxious to let the clock tick in the 2nd half. I think Coach Green kept a good portion of his playbook closed as well. As a matter of fact, I think there are pages that haven't even been opened yet this year except in practice.
