Any Info on SA John JAY?

John Jay tore up SA O`Connor last night.I`m thinking they may have took the district crown from O`Connor.Jay seems to be flying under the radar this year.Do you have any info. on them?

Jay finished the season with one loss I believe. I think they are also 7-1 on the year according to the UIL. They had those first 2 games called due to weather. The record on MySA says 8-1 though, so maybe they are counting one of the called games as a victory.

I don't think any playoff team in that district could match up with either 25-5a or 26-5a though, so maybe the record is a product of their competition.

Remember in 1983 when Midland Lee had 2 scat backs: Walter Jones and Tyrone Thurman .... DITTO for John JAY!
THOSE two backs ARE THE REAL DEAL! Any given daylight and its going to turn into a track meet! Granted I don't think its because of a "weak" district you can blame when you face backs with speed like that! Talk about a sleeper just going about business! Jay going to make some noise in the playoffs! O'Connor prides itself on "D" but couldn't contain last night.
