Ok North Shore Nation, given the great schedule we have this year, who do you pick as the toughest NS opponent or, which team on their schedule are you most worried about? I pick Ike as the game that will be the most fierce and intense. It's just a gut feeling I have and maybe because of the history between the two teams has always been intense.

North Shore versus BIG IKE! This should be an incredible game at Thorne Stadium. This game will probably have more D1 level talent on the field than most regular season games this year. There is always a lot of respect between these two teams. Looking forward to it!

Our tight end Matthews vs your db Loston will be quite a match up. Two D1
chippers meeting head to head.

Im going to say SLC just because were going to be on their turf. I could pick a lot of games like Katy and Ike. But this is one of the ones that worries me the most.

You two are funny. Not everyone will see this question on the official site.

From a purely athletic stand point I think IKE will the team to give us the toughest competition. That's not saying that the other four teams don't have athletes its just saying that pound for pound IKE probably matches up better with us. Katy and Carroll are going to be tough because your talking about two of the best programs in the state not to mention we've got to go into the Dragon's Lair. I can see both Cy-Falls and Lamarque hanging around for a quarter or two but then after that the depth will start to take over and wear them down.

Yup..

Would've taken me forever sifting through 3,000+ posts!

I think North Shore has one of the most eye popping pre-district schedules in Texas. I'de like to be at every one of those games.

Your Week 10 game should be one to give you a run for your money!

With as tough a schedule that North Shore has on tap this year, I think now so more than ever, they need to concentrate on who's next, not who's after that. Play the games, learn from your mistakes, make corrections, then play the next game. Week 0 is first, everything after that will take care of it's self, in it's own time.

That's my thoughts also. What I wanted to say was I think Ike will be the most physical game pound for pound NS will face in the regular season. Katy, SLC and Westbrook will no doubt be high hurdles.
