Now this is stupid.....Ocho Cinco and several friends in Libery City can beat Phelps. Not in the 40, in a swimming race.

What a joker. I wish that the ESPN folks had called his bluff and offer to get him in a pool right then and there with a clock on him. Let him do something easy, like a 100M, and see if he can come within 10 seconds of what Phelps did in the opening leg of the 4 X100 relay.

Hell, I run about 2 miles most evenings. Or at least do something that somewhat resembles a run. What does it really take to win the mile in the Olympics. :rolleyes:

In Lance's defense, and I heard this on multiple Houston radio shows yesterday, he is always joking around like that and wasn't putting down Phelps.

Ocho Cinco on the other hand probably really thinks he could run on the bottom of the pool or something. I'm sick of his act. He's not even the best WR on his team. He needs to STHU!!!

I think Ocho Cinco was joking too. He's just not a media darling. Remember this is the same dude that said he could be a horse around the time of the Triple Crown and the actually raced a horse to raise money for a charity. Don't be suprised if you see Ocho Cinco and Phelps in the pool one day for a charity event.

You know, it's one thing to talk crap about other WR's or CB's in the NFL, but to call out Michael Phelps, who is one of the greatest olympic embassadors of the United States is just ridiculous.
