I had a feeling this would be a close game. Nothing to lose Flower Mound playing last home game with top recruit Stevens at QB> Personally feel FlowerMound should be Playoff team over Plano East.

Great Plano comeback. Mark S. and Justin Jordan leading the way with 2 4th quarter touchdowns. Best game of the year.

Plano threw way too much. First 2 drives, they missed field goals. Then they fumbled inside the FM 20. On the kickoff following FM's first TD, it was a pooch kick that Plano decided not to jump on. FM got the ball at the Plano 25 and scored another TD to make it 12-0 (missed both extra points).

Plano had 5 turnovers. Their passing game was pathetic and should have remained in the closet. Jordan ran very well, but they did not use him enough.

In the playoffs, I want to see Plano pass at most 5 times per game.

I disagree. The last 5 weeks starting with the Allen game every defense has geared up to stop the option and the pitch sweep to Justin Jordan. That has allowed Mark S till pile up more yards rushing the second half of the year.

Plano needs to average about 10 passes a game. Not sure if they have a tightend who can catch. Bu that would be awesome and take the pressure off the wide outs and Jordan coming out of the backfield. If Mark S can go 6 of 10 for 80 100 yards a game in the playoffs that will open the running game enough for Plano to run well.

GO CATS> WE WANT SL :)

hhmmm...those Flower Mound schools are a rowdy bunch, aren't they? We had the same problem with them when we were down by 10 and had to score 13 unanswered points which went down to the final seconds when Flower Mound missed a FG which would have put the game in OT.

It's good to see Plano up and back in the hunt again. Best wishes in the playoffs.

Now if Permian could get their program turned around, all will be right with the world again.
