I propose we establish a 5ATF tradition in the Houston area called Saturday Game of the Week. (DFW and San Antonio, you all could do the same thing as well, obviously).
Most of us will have our own Friday night games, so we'll be scattered. But we can pick a single Saturday night game and encourage all to attend it, we'd get to see the diversity of Greater Houston Area football and get better acquainted also. We can watch other teams and talk about what we saw the previous night at our own games.
If desired, we can find a "host" for each game who organizes a pre-game meal or a tailgate gathering.
There are some interesting Saturday games, here is my proposed lineup. It gives us a chance to see a lot of competitive games and playoff bound teams:
Sat 8/30 SA Reagan at Cinco Ranch
Sat 9/6 Cy Creek at Klein Oak
Sat 9/13 Deer Park at Cy Fair
Sat 9/20 Lamar at Katy Taylor
Sat 9/27 Alief Taylor at Stratford
Sat 10/4 Cypress Bay at Katy
Sat 10/11 Cy Ridge at Cy Fair
Sat 10/18 Eisenhower at Nimitz
Sat 10/25 LaPorte at Pasadena Memorial
Sat 11/1 Lufkin at The Woodlands
Sat 11/8 Cy Woods at Cy Falls
