Trinity has a strong offense..seemed to be pretty sloppy with the ball in the 2nd half, but got out with the win..Mac looked good too. Lots of hard hitting goin on. Good luck to both!

Trinity looked good on offense.

However you need to get some work done in the secondary, this is two straight weeks that it has looked suspect. If that anticipated matchup with Carroll takes place, then we could be looking at McElroy throwing for 400+.

i expect that, but i see mcelroy making a couple of mistakes, and i see
trinity winning 42-38,, remember its win or go home, and thats not
daniel and luna in that backfield, taking nothing away from mcelroy
and newton...

Trinity looked real good at times tonight. I've thought all along that it will take a smashmouth team with a great defense to knock off Carroll. Trinity has 1/2 of that equation, but I'm afraid the defensive secondary is not good enough to produce stops against the machine that is the SLC offense. Trinity will move the ball against SLC and could score a ton of points if they don't make mistakes like fumbling the ball and committing dumb penalties. In the end, however, I think SLC will find a way to get a 14+ point lead sometime in the 2nd half which will force Trinity to throw, which they showed tonight they can't do against a good defense.

My early prediction: SLC 42 E. Trinity 24

And for what its worth, Luna and Daniel were much better than McElroy and Newton at this stage of the season.

Texas offered Daniel the day before signing day, but he turned it down. IMO that was a bad decision, but he stuck to his word. The rest of your post is kind of ridiculous and I am not going to argue with it

Newton is nowhere near the back Luna was last year, maybe he will grow into Luna's shoes over the offseason. Playing on Sunday is not that big of a deal. I play on alot of Sundays I just don't get paid or on television lol :rolleyes:
