I heard the game will be next Saturday at 1:00pm at Bobcat stadium, SVs other home. Thats if SV beats Roosevelt and wins the district.

You do realize that this is San Marcos's home field?

You are correct Handey.Nov.12 at Bobcat Stadium.The Rattlers only home.Should be a good one.If SV loses to Roosevelt we play Madison at Commalander on Friday Nov.11

I can't recall SV ever losing to SM and the slot-T offense, at least going back to the Bush era when SM was a district rival of SV's in 4A. By no means a given this year, just an indication that SV should be favored.

Thats a really nice place to have a playoff game,we just wont be used to sitting on the visitors side.But,we`ll manage.

Bring the sunscreen. Like sitting on the Comalander visitor side for an afternoon game :eek:

Yeah,and a pair of dark sunglasses.One thing about SM football is all that misdirection,and trying to find the real waldo with the pigskin.Madison had some of that happening when we played tham.A good pair of binoculars always helps.

Yes I know.....but Hill loves to have playoff games there. There only loss there was to La Marque in the state semis in '99.

Wasn't that in 1998? We are La Marque Cougars -- wooosh!. Still here that in my head. That was a great defensive ballgame, much like the Clemens' games. I was thinking 1999 is when Roosevelt whipped SV pretty bad in the 1st round, like 61 to something. Hill's brother, for once, got the upper hand.

Roosevelt embarssed SV,but,we got em back in 2001,not as bad,but with no doubt.La marque had all those signs "SV who?,and "wheres smithson Valley",and many more.Did`nt La Marque win state that year?
