Big day on the South Plains

It's been an interesting last 30 hours on the South Plains:

1. Brandon Sesay showed up after having many worried about his eligibility.

2. Dominique Delpeche didn't show up and I don't know if he will.

3. Terrance Bullitt committed today.

4. Joel Gray committed tonight and they're up to 15 commits. In the Texas Top 100, Texas has 14, the Ags have 9 and both Tech and OU have 7 players.

5. Tech found a new CB for the first practice tonight. His name is L.A. Reed and I'm all for the move.

6. The coaches recently said Steven Hamby would be playing in the fall and not be out of commission on the assault charges.

I don't know if it's true or not, but I've heard for months that Joel Gray is way underrated and Garrett Porter is way overrated. Gray was one of Tech's biggest targets left.

Getting Bullitt shuts down Tech's DB recruiting except for Brent and guys of his caliber. Bullitt can't hurt for guys like Chris Williams, either.

Joel Gray is from Hebron and I can vouch for him being a quality kid. He will be the third kid from Hebron to TT in 5 years.

Of course, some of our coaches are TT grads too. :D
