So, I decided I would go see it because I had nothing else better to do (and I already saw Dark Knight). Idk what to think about it

this movie is best to be waited for, jet li is a martial arts master and this movie made him look pathetic. The cgi down graded the movie, and i felt the storys plot wasn't really milked for what it could have been.

I came home to see my dad and we went to the movies... we were going to see The Mummy movie but then our conversation turned to Batman and he said that he hadn't seen it... so we decided to see that again. It was great... just as great as the first time.

Because it was just sorta... weird.
It is totally different than the other mummy movies have been. This mummy has the ability to shapeshift and throw fire and stuff, it was really really cheesy. The Battle scenes were ok, but nothing special. It is the worst Mummy movie by far.
Really crappy storyline to say the least.

Last weekend we sat in a room with the cast of the Mummy and Jet Li said very little. Brendan Fraser and the guy who played Alex spoke most of the time. Now I know why. I liked the movie but Jet Li had very little actual acting time - most of his was CGI. He was seen for the first few minutes and that's it. He is so much fun to watch and that was a shame - what a waste. I thought Maria Bello looked too much like Sigourney Weaver and I didn't like her character too much. Then there was the Yeti that they had told us of at the Comic Con panel - you don't want to know my opinion of that part. All in all, it was just okay. Not as good as the first one or the second one.
The next panel we saw was the Pineapple Express cast - I am going to see that one this weekend...have the feeling I will like that one a LOT more!! Seth Rogen called it a "stoner action flick"....I loved that description.
The Terminator Salvation was the first one we saw - Can't WAIT for that one!!

One of the worst movies I've seen in a long, long time. I enjoyed the first Mummy movie, but this was terrible.

I too watched it this weekend and I actually kind of liked it. I've watched Mummy 2 before at the movies, but it was so long ago I remember nothing about it, only that I walked out of the theatre thinking it didnt make any sense. This one I was able to follow quite easily, but then again Im older now so who knows.
