Garland vs. Kimball. 0 week

Anybody know about Kimball this year? I know they lost close non district games last year to Carter, Lufkin and Tyler Lee (Final score 3-2). Its the first time Garland has played a 4A team since beating state champ Ennis a few years back. Garland has played Allen, Plano East and De Soto in recent years. Could have been the toughest non district schedule; All three were "ranked". Garland will roll out a new look, after having maybe the worst year in the last 15. Thoughts?

I think Kimball is bringing in a new coach.

In recent years they haven't done well in non-district games, plus they are 4A, so I'll take Garland in a blowout.

I dont know about that thing about not doing well in non district games .They played three tough 5As and hung with them. I was surprised at how well they played Lufkin and Lee. The "Oak Cliff super bowl", Carter vs Kimball was also close. but it usually is. That was last year. What have they got this year?

Kimball on paper seems to be in a bad situation. They have a new coach plus they had a senior laden team last year. If I'm not mistaken I think they may have lost 17 starters. Not 100% sure but I know it was a lot.

I'm not really expecting a lot from them this year. We'll see how things go.

Well Kimball has a new coach in place and they start practice on the forth. They will be adjusting to a new scheme on offense. Now Kimball always has and always will trot out 15 good athletes in the defensive rotation. look at how they have played against carter skyline lufkin tyler lee in the last 3 - 4 years. They will play defense. So I think garland will win but it will be close.

It will take some games to get the OWLS comfortable with the system. Ive got hopes they will come on strong after four or five games. The ATTITUDE was good in the spring game and 7 0n 7. Garland will look at a bunch of players and win this one.

After seeing the Owls in action, and seeing some negatives about Kimball, wish I could change my vote. The Owls MAY run away with this one. This is the First time Garland has played a 4A team since playing 4A champion Ennis in 04, I believe
