The best wrestling match ever?

I preface this by saying that I don't watch wrestling anymore. Just too f'n stupid. But I used to and the "Hell in a Cell" match between Mankind and The Undertaker some years ago might have been the best match ever. It was back when the WWF was losing to WCW and they started becoming more hardcore to compete. Now they just suck.

The first match I remember as a kid...and was pretty big in my mind haha...Sting vs. Hollywood Hogan. That darn NWO!

My best was between these two girls at pudding wrestling a few years ago. Tall blonde and a short red head. The red head wore her out and took the title that night. NICE!

Back in the 1980's, the Von Erichs started World Class Wrestling and it became the foundation for the way wrestling was popularized in the 90's.

We would go about twice a year just to see the people who thought it was real....they were a better show than the wrestling....:D

The best bout I ever saw live was back in about 1986-87. It was a World Champinship bout between Kerry Von Erich and the Champion, "Nature Boy" Ric Flair.

It was a 1 fall, 1 hour time limit and they wrestled the whole hour....non-stop.....they didn't just lay around on the floor and rest.....it was all action....they really put on a show....got the crowd in a frenzy.

It was a draw and Flair retained his title, but Kerry got so popular after that bout that the governing body that WCW was a part of decided to reward the Von Erichs and let Kerry win the title from Flair the next time they wrestled.....of course Flair won it back the next time they wrestled, but Kerry could alway be billed as "former World Champion" after that....a nice bone to throw the Von Erich's indeed.

I love Hell in a Cell with Taker/Mankind, but it wasn't much of match. The only thing you really remember are Mankind's 2 huge bumps.

I was there, inside Texas Stadium, the day Kerry took out Flair. It was the biggest wrestling event this area has ever seen, a tribute to the David, who had recently died. Crazy, intense, electric atmosphere in the stadium that day.

My favorite match because I love hardcore style matches. I was thinking an Elimination Chamber also but when WWE brought that back I was highly disappointed.

Hogan vs Goldberg was the coolest match I saw and I was only 7. I'll be honest I miss WCW. The fans were crazy and the fact that people through stuff into the ring made it so intense.

WCW at the Freeman Coliseum and Alamodome here in SA. (I wasn't really into WWF but I got free tickets so....)WWF in Corpus Christi (when the CC Rayz hockey team first started out and were known as the CC Icerayz) and I saw when The Rock was Rocky in the alliance with D-Lo Brown and no one liked him...I chanted Rocky Sucks with everyone even though I had no clue what sucks meant. WWE when the Draft happened recently and ROH I went about a year ago it rocked!
I know I'm 17 and I'm really young but my Dad had these recordings of the old school wrestling I'm talking the Texas wrestling matches that were hardcore brutal.....Fabulous Freebirds and Van Eriks was the best rivalry ever. It beats WCW vs WWF or WWF vs ECW or DX vs The World. It beats them all.....
