Well - we've been talkin' about tailgating a game for 2 years gang - still hasn't happened. I'm up for that - but, how about a 5A Forum Golf Tourney? Who's up for it? No handicap is too high or low. Golf is the ultimate handicap Wide only gets a six pack per 18 holes to consume - gotta keep it respectable. I say we look at early March '06 - no sports to interfere with - other than soccer or early baseball. Anybody up for it?

Possible locations:
Waco
Huntsville
Waxahachie/Canton
Stephenville
Laredo
Krykysztan

Yep - location is the key - surely we could all look at making a 2 hour+ road trip out of it - except for KT coming from Midland. That course in Forney/Kaufman looks pretty nice - long drive from SL.

Actually Wide that course just off I-35 would be the perfect location geographically - but then we all have to stay at your place

wide, most golfers think of their sport in terms of nine hole segments. i'm betting you would aspire to winning the 19th hole.

You're in the 19th Hole Hall of Fame. They put your picture on the wall.

I'm all up for the golf over here. They actually have a 9 hole course, but they charge a pricey fee. It might be hard to putt in the snow, though! :D

I've never golfed in my life outside of miniature golf, but I'd do it if I can get to the course.

I am for it!! Hey Midland is a ways out west, but that Nueva Vista course is a great course and fun to play. Lots of fun when the wind is blowing 30+ MPH and the red ants are blowing across about knee high. Hey I am for it where ever it is. I can go anywhere anytime with the exception of Krykysztan. (Benefit of being retired)

If you want to play a good course, play Sky Creek Ranch just outside Southlake in Keller; actually its just down the street from Carroll HS. Awesome course layout; one of my favorite courses. ;)

Carroll as in SLC... If you keep going down Southlake road or whatever its called, you take a left and its in a nice neighborhood off to the right. I think its right on the border between Southlake and Keller.

we could break it down, like DFW area folks meet up, etc etc, then since you say "tourney" we have the "best of the best" meet up somewhere

Yeah Sky Creek is pretty nice. Bent grass greens, nice layout, real good condition. There are alot of nice courses around the metroplex. They are building them as fast as they can up near Frisco and Plano. San Antonio area has some real nice ones as well as Austin. As long as "TexasHeadliner" is there i will be there.
