katy strake coin flip

is it true that if strake takes out cinco this saturday afternoon and katy doesnt screw up like they did last year against alief taylor that there will be a coin toss since hastings is going d1?

I believe there is/was a coin flip today... I have not heard the results, but yes, if both teams finish with the same district record after Saturday, then the winner of the flip is the top-seeded team.

Personally, I think Katy is the best team in the district and had the game been played between the two schools, would almost certainly have been the top-seed, so I'm kind of pulling for them to win the toss. However, I also am a Strake supporter and since it looks like the top-seed will face an easier 1st-round opponent, I kind of want Strake to win it.

Hmmmm... <thinking> I guess since Katy will advance deep regardless, I'll pull for Strake to win the toss.

Of course all of this rambling is based on the assumption that Strake beats Cinco... And THAT'S a HUGE assumption...
