I know its a 4a school, but it's 7on7...Congrats E-E on going undefeated at the LSU tournament. 5-0 to take the tourney, beating scotlandville in the championship 44-27

Valley 7-on-7 Team Goes Undefeated

BATON ROUGE, LA - Valley high school football teams use 7-on-7 football to stay busy during the summer. Edcouch-Elsa has not only stayed busy; they've also had success. Today, the local squad was in Louisiana, taking part in LSU's 7-on-7 Tournament. Teams from Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas were on hand. The Yellow Jackets won five games straight en route to the big school tournament championship. In the final, Edcouch-Elsa defeated Scotlandville, a team from Baton Rouge, by a final of 44-27.

anytime a Texas team competes in an out of state tourney against teams from Florida, Louisiana, Alabama, etc we should support them.

Congrats E-E!!! 5-0 to take the tourney championship!! mucha maquinaaaa! lol

hmmmm sounds interesting......i see that the valley supports any team that comes from there area:cool:

i been wondering the same thing. for some reason this tourney didnt get much publicity.

1st round E-E beat Natchez, a team from Mississippi 28-23
2nd round E-E beat Redemptorist from Louisiana 18-13
3rd round E-E beat Sulphur, Louisiana 35-22
4th round E-E beat Wash-Mar, Mississippi 30-0
Championship game E-E beat Scotlandville 44-27

After the game LSU coaches including the offensive coordinator went up to our head coach and wanted some information on our QB Eric Nino (6'3 185) and our TE Artie Tanguma (6'4 260). Great job guys! :notworthy
