They might make a good run, but it's not going to be easy. They did well to have Stephenville and Plainview in D1. When I look at the playoffs, I see a bunch of teams that come from weak districts, but Aledo is in the one district in Region 1 that's stronger than Rider's district. I know they're 8-1 this year, but how have they looked?

How come Hirschi is so bad again? City View, Burkburnett, and Old High didn't do too hot, either. How about Holliday, Henrietta, and Iowa Park? They seem to be down a little this year. Is Windthorst going to make another title run?

Hirschi has no talent base, everyone wants to win so they go to Rider.

City View-----Just like Hirschi pretty much. After Gus Barnes graduated in 2004 they just went down hill.

Burkburnett------Nate Brown is good, I mean REAL good. But he has no talent around him so defenses key on him. If Burk had a defense they would've made the playoffs this year.

Old High-----I hate the coyotes but they got talent. They didn't peak at the right time this year. The QB is only a Junior so watch out for them next year. they just might win district next yeer.

Holliday----I dont keep up too much with them but from the looks of things they are going to make some noise come playoff time. Very good offense.

Henrietta-----An exciting team to watch. I think they go 3 deep at least come playoff time.

Iowa Park-----Very bad year. they are 3-6 I think.

Windthorst-----Green is the real deal! Clearly the best athlete in the WF area and he's only a Junior. They will win state.

Its cold but only at night. It's very nice weather here. I can't believe I was here for football season this year after missing the 2004 season.

Thanks for the updates. I hope the area does as well this year as last year. You can hardly top having teams from 1A to 4A in the same area all making runs at the same time.

I expect Rider to make it to at least state-semis. Any thing less would make this a bad year.

I just felt like bringing this thread up while looking for my fired threads last year. Rider got destroyed in Bi-District!:D It's always fun to go back and see what was said in the past.
