Good team, 2 losses ( 1 to Katy, 1 to Woodlands ). Undeafeted in district. Playing undefeated Spring Westfield for a district title. Could this be Spring Westfield's weekend to struggle like ET, SLC?

You guys seem to be forgetting one thing......SLC won and ET lost. SLC found a way to win like championship teams do. Dont forget that. To put us in the same sentence with ET and say "struggle" makes it sound like we lost. We didnt. SLC struggled and ET lost, just clarifying!

There is a difference in results, but both teams did struggle. One of them struggled more!

Unless Jamal Charles is back in High School and transferred to Humble....Westfield University(Sorry North Shore) wll leave the starters in to get them ready for the playoffs.....I say 56-14, Westfield.

Ask North Shore. When your starters have been taken out at the half all year and they get into a dog fight...they don't know how to react. In the good ol days you rested your guys...but now they need the reps....just my opinion.

Allin......you will have your day to look at the scoreboard from the bottom. Don't get too cocky and have to take it back. Some Trinity posters have done that. Believe me...Trinity has felt the pain and will come out ready Thursday. They have a game to recover and still be in the playoffs. If you lose in the playoffs, it's homeward bound. I think Trinity will benifit from that game and learn the lesson. SGP is a MUCH MUCH better team than Grapevine. Remember...things happen that have no explanation, but Trinity has time to find the answer. SLC is still looking for reasons for the struggle. The match-up during the playoffs, should it happen, might just be the game everybody is talking about. Way too many people dropped Trinity too far down the ratings. They were ranked better last year after two early season losses. Coach Lineweaver is one of the best at preparing players after being down. I will be at the IMAC game to witness a Trinity team that is better for the experience.

We know all about Coach Lineweaver....he came from Carroll & his son Aaron coaches my son at Carroll Miiddle School..he'll have his kids ready to play Coach Dodge's kids..if it comes to that...

I also agree that they dropped too far in the polls, everyones knows that. KT2000 exlained his reasoning. I also dont see how you think SLC is still "looking for the reasons" on why we struggled. They fix things they struggle with every week, just like ET does hopefully. I fully believe that the Et match up will happen and the winner will win state. Good luck to you. Why cant we put struggle and and Et and SLC in the same sentence?Are u to good to be on the same plain as them? SlC ET and Longview all struggled last week. It happens but dont try to put yourselves above ET.

How did a thread titled 'Humble Pie' become a debate about ET dropping in the polls after 1 loss, and SLC 'struggling' but they really didn't because they won? :(

Nothing really big happening in 195a or 205a Friday night. Will probaly go just to see a great game and to see football fans from around the area show up in their school colors. Sat. a different story for 195a and 205a.

Like i said in the other post, it is Westfields game to lose. Humble has to have turnovers and a productive offense. That means keeping the ball so the defense doesn't have to play as much. That is where Humble really has struggled is not letting their D get any rest.

I expect a Westfield win. Just want to see one of the best teams in the area. Humble will have their hands full. Saw them vs Katy earlier in the year. Will be looking to see how they have improved and adjusted before entering the playoffs. Their QB did have a good game against Katy. He will be facing one of the best defenses in the area Friday. Certainly one of the best games in the area Friday.

I don't care who wins. I going to see a good game and to see how the #2 team in the state handles a very good Humble team. There are a lot of people going from 195a because we don't have a game this good to watch. I'm sure if they're not playing either, GPNS, Pearland, and Hou. Lamar will be there too.
