Is it definite that you guys are Div.1? If so, is it a lock that you are facing Euless Trinity in the first round? If this is so, do ya'll have a clue where the game is going to be played at?

I believe there are scenarios this weekend that could result in SLC going D2. I am sure there are legions of SLC posters who can tell us! If ET/SLC go D1, would they play a first round game at Texas Stadium?

How many times does it have to be posted!...... :D If Colleyville beats Grapevine this Friday night..they are D-1..that is more likely than Fossil Ridge beating Denton Ryan, which is the other scenario where Carroll would be d-2...

Its not definate yet, it all depends on DR vs. Fossil Ridge and CHSH vs. GHS this friday. If we do go division 1 then yes it is certain that we play Trinity and the game will most likely be part of a triple header at Texas Stadium

It is not a lock, but because of an agreement between 5-5A & 6-5A all of the play off games between these district will be played at Texas Stadium, on Sat.

nothing is a lock, except it is out of our hands. games in gvine and keller control a lot of teams destinies. the et v 5-5a d-1 game is scheduled for sat at 1300 at ts, the first of 3 there that day.

Well, I don't read all SLC posts and it's too laborious looking for an answer amidst all these threads. In other words I took the easiest path.
IF SLC makes Div. 1 yadda yadda and if I make it to the BIG game, I will probably sit on SLC's side and hunt down some 5A posters. You guys need to get green Dragon shirts with your username on the back.

HA! Carl with a 'K' is German. My folks are English/Irish. I suppose a triple header's first game would be at noon.

The great thing about (most) of the posters on this and other sites (all trash talking aside) is our love for Texas high school football.
It would be great to meet you guys and talk in person.
Good luck, wherever the chips may fall!

In Katy, if you look west, you still see rice fields and pastures...look east and it's all concrete. Houston urban sprawl.

I can still go hunting within 15 mins of my driveway, but more and more of the hunting fields are being developed into subdivisions every day. As a result, hunting on the Katy prairie gets worse everyday. Sad price of progress.

My cats litter my porch with rodents. Hunting is still good for them.

Maybe we should start a thread about about which school is from an area that is most scenic. Out of SLC and Katy, I think I'd have to give the nod to SLC as being more scenic although that's not really saying much. Then again, I'm in Dallas and all I see is concrete!

I heard from a Heritage parent that Heritage has to win by 14 if Fossil Ridge loses. I also heard that Grapevine can lose by 5 and still make the playoffs if Fossil Ridge loses. Has anyone seen the senarios in the newspaper that confirm this?

So I guess the answer is Saturday at Texas Stadium at 1pm. Maybe Nov. 12.

I wish we could get people to understand that Southlake is all one word...how about SC? And I don't mean Shertz Clemens, which was nothing more than a speed trap on I-35 when I was in high school in New Braunfels...

it was a bad speed trap before i-35 too. i am really showing my age now, since i remember driving home thru jerrell and all the little towns before the interstate.
