I don't know about all the o-line or d-line players.

K: Kevin Ortega SLC

Offensive Player of the Year: Greg McElroy SLC

5-5A MVP: Greg McElroy SLC

I think SLC will run the table with the awards just because they have been so dominant. Both sides of the ball have destroyed teams. Please post your comments or disagreements.

Since I watch CHHS, I will make a comment concerning your choice of Kyle Burnett at linebacker. He has been hurt since the first half of the FR game and then missed the Haltom, Denton Ryan and Keller games. So he has played in only two district games and could possibly play this Friday against Grapevine. Although he played well in the two games prior to injury, how does he make it on that basis?

The player who has stepped up for CHHS after getting a chance in the Southlake game (2nd district game) is junior OLB Austin Vick. He has averaged over 10 tackles a game and makes things happen. He definately has helped steady an improving CH run defense. He would be my choice on the defense along with junior DE Logan Laposta and possibly junior S Matt Howe.

On offense junior Evan Walker is CH's leading receiver but I would have to go with junior Breece Johnson if only one is chosen.

I don't know about the o-line except that we start four juniors there.

Does anyone know if they sell advance tickets at the Mustang-Panther stadium? Would like to get a couple of tickets for the CHHS-GV game.

In our district the MVP and the offensive and defensive player of the year are always 3 seprate people. We can't have one player be the MVP and the offensive player of the year. Or maybe you can but its never ended up like that.

I agree. I believe this is the way it is here to. In this scenario I make Ponder my offensive POY and McElroy my 5-5A MVP.
