definitly ferentz. i remember a few years ago people weretalking NC title hopes, now they are back to the bottom (or atleast it feels like it).

everyone knows stoops and robinson need to time to build up nothing programs and stoops (:puke) has made some headway beating oregon last year. robinson is in the big-easy so any slight turn up could lead to a conference championship.

ty.....will be ty, i think he's in a close second, but after everyone saw him collapse at ND his stock went down as well as his rep. washington knew they were getting an okay coach, so i had to put him behind ferentz.

ya'll are lucky i didn't eff around and chose sherman :laugh

Tressel is an interesting case...he brings them to two straight title games as a #1 seed and can't seem to finish...I mean, what do you do with that?

Like Avery Johnson....he brought the Mavs to the NBA Finals with a 2-0 lead and couldn't finish..the next year they win 67 games and lose in the first round...what do you do with that? He is a great coach, just like Tressel is, but when you're expected to produce results in the one game or series that matters, you have to finish the fight.

I honestly don't think Ohio State can win another title under Tressel...no matter how good his teams are.

I think you may be right..

I don't know the reasons exactly, but Ohio State hasn't looked real good last two years playing for the title.....They were spotted the lead both times as well...

IF, Ohio State gets whooped out in California, then runs the table only to lose another BCS Bowl to an SEC or Big 12 team things might get alittle sticky for Tressel....

It might be he's just lost the Big Game touch and is getting outcoached...OR, it could be that the Big 10 sucks...(lol)

Tommy Bowden. He has had loaded teams the past four years and yet to produce an ACC title. This year they have more talent than ever its win or go home.

It seems that as long as Bowden beats South Carolina and has a winning record, Clemson will settle with mediocrity. You are right however that on paper he has as much or more talent than ever this year. The defense, particularly the secondary, should be one of the best in the country.

clemson is the Auburn of the of the ACC, you KNOW they can win it all but there's always a WTF game in the middle of the season that derails the whole thing.

atleast with texas i know they'll lose to either the landthiefs/aggys/tceh and during a crappy year a north team, but with clemson even duke has a chance...

Clemson is much worse than the Auburn of the ACC. Auburn has been to a BCS game and won an SEC championship recently. Auburn got jobbed in 2004, Clemson just chokes it away every year.

I voted for Ferentz.

That's a weak conference. He should be doing more...

The non-con cupcake schedule for Clemson hasn't helped much...

Hard to believe that a mere 3-4 years ago he was being talked about as the next Pete Carroll. Amazing how far Iowa has fallen.

good point, but in the sec (not because it's true) to me auburn always sticks out for that 1 loss that i have to question them on.

and yes they have done more then clemson has in a MUCH harder conference.

ateast stoops and ty have a program that hasn't lifted from the dirt, this guy climaxed early and is not steadily falling.
