I thought the reason #4235987 was that JTK was moving there...

Some good music has come from there in the past.
Sorry to see landmark stadiums go but progress is progress. Maybe their new stadium is bigger and better.

yea plus that location looks horrible. are they moving it somewhere else or just remodeling it

Detroit has some of the nicest and prettiest burbs in the nation, but not even Ann Arbor and a tenured position teaching one on one sex-ed to co-eds at UM could lure me to the Detroit area.

It is, but they could build a bigger and better Fenway Park. You still don't tear down Fenway Park.

BTW, the Tigers have been playing at Comerica Park for 8 years...
