I wish I could go to both games. Strake is playing for co-district championship vs Cinco playing for a possible playoff spot or Katy playing for revenge against Alief Taylor. Same time two different locations.

I personally think the Strake vs Cinco game will be the better game.

Great game later on that night will be Kemper vs Marshall.

No decision needed for me, I know exactly where I will be.....

I could never let my Tigers down, regardless of who else is playing at the time.

I can apprec. your loyalty. That's why I am so torn. Do you think Coach Joseph would rest any starters? I think Will Thompson needs a rest. I would love to see this kid go out on a high in his senior year. He's meant so much to our program.

Also I may skip the first round and go see SLC vs E.T. In my heart I don't think I would be disloyal. This could possibly be this biggest game outside the D1., D2. state championships.

I'm inclined to go see Cinco, sit on their side and root for 'em. That is a tough decision though. The only game I missed so far this season is the homecoming game. I stayed away so all the kids could get in.

You could have sat on the Hastings side as many Tiger fans did.

I don't think it's a question of whether or not Coach will allow them to rest, I think he would have more problems forcing them to do so. Those boys are very driven and focused. I think he will have them in minimum through the first half. It all depends on the way the gaem is going. Remember (I don't like to) that this is the game that bit us last year. It could very possibly be the loss of the district title if the game is similar, and assuming that SJ wins against Cinco.

Very good point Knight, and then go watch Kemper vs Marshall.

Can't do that in the first round though if I go see E.T. play SLC

I understand where you're coming from. I've skipped a couple NS games to catch a better matchup somewhere else. But never miss the playoffs.

p.s. Hopefully SLC-ET will be on a sat. and I might make that trip myself. But there's plenty of good ball down here to see too.

For loyalty....go see your Tigers.
For a good match-up....see the Cinco/Strake game.
I would also like to see the ET/SLC game if it happens. That would have to be the game of the year in 5A.

Somewhere up in the northern regions of Texas. I would assume in the greater Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I would like to see that game but only with a group. Too far to go singleton.

DFW area for sure, just wondered if maybe Texas Stadium?

Would they play a first round game there I wonder?

Their fall from grace from #3 to #15 may not be worth the trip. I want to see where the chronicle has them. Kemper has Clements tommorrow amd Marshall Sat. evening.(the 2 teams Katy and Strake will face) If Kempner gets past both of these, I'll be willing to make the trip.

Losing one game doesn't make ET a bad team. The rankings certainly doesn't make them better or worse. Of Katy's three 5A titles only one was an undefeated season. I would think ET would be up for the game. Now that I heard SLC would play at 1pm I'm hoping Katy's game would be later in the afternoon.

And I won't be leaving until the boys leave the field. (Which is AFTER the school song!)

If SLC goes DI and plays ET it will be at 3pm Saturday in Texas Stadium. (I'm still hoping for D2 so we can play Katy again)
