Two ex Lobo's had very big games on national TV this week.

WR Malcolm Kelly had a great game with OU against Nebraska - his one handed sideline grab was out of this world - but he had a toe on the line unfortunately. I think he ended up with about 7 catches for 100 yards? Man - this guy did not look anywhere near that dominant in HS.

TE Tate Casey had a very nice td grab for the Florida Gators against Georgia in a huge game - excellent route and catch. Not sure what he did the rest of the game?

Congrats guys.

favpack it was because Longview runs 85 to 90 percent of the time. If he was on a team like SLC, Lufkin etc etc he would have had amazing stats. The scouts realized how good he was and knew he could not rack up numbers on that team with the offense they use. It is just not in their scheme for a wr to have huge numbers. He was listed as one of the top wr in the nation out of hs.

There was actually a funny article about how upset the writer was at the lack of use of Casey. Called something like "TD machine to overlooked blocker". It was pretty good. He went through video and counted the number of times in the redzone he was wide open.

Malcolm sure is going to be a beast. Can't wait to see him playing on Sundays....T.O. without the baggage.

I agree, Eric Williams, wide receiver and kick returner, who just retired from 8 years of pro ball, mostly with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was a wide out for Garland back in the early 90's when we didn't even know what a forward pass was, well, he only caught 1 (one) pass for Garland in his whole 3 years on varsity.
